- Indoor/outdoor carpeting, some drywall for warmth and furniture! maybe a dart board for ambiance.
- Carpet and walls, a sofa and 52′ Plasma screen TV, thats good enough for almost everyone
- First check with the city, and see if it’s legal to do this. Many cities require you have a garage or carport as a replacement for the garage you are converting. You don’t want to convert it without the cities permission, as when you do get caught, they will make you gut it and you will be out all the money you invested in it. Do it legal and save yourself time and much money!
- carpeting or simply clean the tiles … paint the wall with brighter color … hang some painting or B/W pictures of family .. install more of lighting, get standing lamp if you need - accompany you for watching TV if possible, change the garage door with glass shuttering door - gives you more view & dont forget the security locks and curtain/ blind. enjoy your new living room!
